Welcome to The Happy Cook!
Hammer Stahl’s cookware is made through ingenious 5-ply construction. There are seven layers of different metals in each piece of cookware that work together to spread the heat evenly and efficiently. These seven layers are not just used for the base of the cookware, but the sides as well. This means the aluminum core will spread heat throughout the walls as well as the base, allowing the heat to spread more evenly and make the cookware less likely to burn.
With a 316Ti ferritic steel interior layer, Heritage Steel cookware boasts lasting luster, superior durability, and the most inert cooking surface available which produces food with clean, authentic flavor. Other types of induction ready cookware use a magnetic type of stainless steel on the outermost layer, which compromises the integrity of that outer layer of the cookware. However, the 316Ti stainless steel in Hammer Stahl cookware is titanium stabilized and resists pitting and corrosion, extending the aesthetic appearance and overall lifetime of your pieces.
Hammer Stahl’s pans are designed to spread heat throughout every part of themselves – except one: the handles. The innovative handle design is comprised of multiple machined parts, which creates a hollow handle that stays cooler than a solid metal handle. They are also designed to fit comfortably inside your hand; they are made for with both safety and ease in mind.
